If when seeing your GP they decide that you need to be referred to see a specialist, you will be able to decide which hospital you would like to attend. You will be given a token by your GP with a telephone number to ring the Patient Choice advisor at the local booking centre in Carlisle. Please ring 5 working days after your GP appointment to enable your referral letter to be typed and sent to the Booking Centre.
You can ring the Booking Centre on 03447760003 between the hours of 08:30-18:00 Monday to Friday.
If the booking centre do not hear from you within 16 days they will assume that you do not wish to make an appointment.
